About this campaign
Show your support for girls' education by wearing a bright and bold Nasirumbi Education Fund (NEF) T-shirt. Not only will you look cool in one of our T-shirts, but you will also be helping us gain exposure and raise money for our scholarship program in Kenya. If you prefer not to buy a T-shirt for yourself, please consider purchasing one for our students and staff in Kenya. Sizes medium and large are appreciated. If you are donating a T-shirt for NEF students, please elect to have them sent to Jessica. She will hand deliver them to Kenya.
Born in response to a community’s plea to promote ‘girl-child’ education, NEF strives to enhance learning conditions and improve access to education for young women so that they can positively shape their futures.
Due to lack of resources, early pregnancy and other socio-economic reasons, many girls in Kenya still do not have the opportunity to finish school. NEF is helping to change that situation by providing scholarships, learning materials and organizing essential workshops on health and wellness, livelihood skills, college preparation and stress management.
NEF is a fiscally-sponsored charitable project under the umbrella of the Zawadisha Fund. Therefore, money raised during this fundraiser will be channeled to NEF through the Zawadisha Fund and be used exclusively for NEF's students and programs at Busijo Secondary School in Kenya.
