"Working at an elementary school this past year I fell in love with our fifth graders. In order to send them off correctly before they moved onto middle school we had sent out forms to order our "I survived Johnston Elementary" shirts. The shirt is the school colors with an awesome wildcat claw in the background (our school mascot is the wildcat). On field day we asked everyone who ordered a shirt to wear them so the students could sign one another's shirts. It was a great way to send them off. In this photo we are yelling "we survived" because we made it through the year together. I am sadly in the white shirt because my I survived shirt was inside, I did not want to get it dirty . The shirts were the perfect way to finish out an amazing school year."
