The Beat Lives On

"I walk each year to raise awareness and funds for the NJ Sharing Network. They are the organization that help procure my new heart. I received a heart transplant in 2016. My team name is The Beat Lives On. Our shirts have a big pinwheel on the front. This came about on year two that my team walked. The first year, I didn’t have time to have shirts made. So I picked up giant pinwheel to carry so that I could find my team members as we walked along. Then a friend said, that’s the design you should use on your team shirts when you get them made. We really stand out in the crowd of thousands. Our team was feature on future pamphlets and promotional material for future walks. " - http://www.
