Team Tati

"I am the coach for a coed cheer team in Freedom Wisconsin. I have been working with Tatianna since she was in 8th grade. Her freshman year she found out that she had bone cancer in her right leg. Since then she has gone through many many chemo treatments, and had a titanium rod put into her leg. She is now a junior and came back to the team to be the manager. She walked with a cane and did everything she could to help the team. This year while we were in Louisville Kentucky, she broke the titanium rod in her leg merely by stepping wrong. We ended up in a hospital where they casted it until we got home. When we got home the doctors decided to amputate the leg just above the knee. She had also found that she had 15 nodules in her lungs and has to go through extensive chemo and future lung surgeries. She is keeping her spirits high, but does not have an easy road ahead of her. Her family has had a hard time with all the traveling and expenses from all of this. The cheer team decided that we would create a tee shirt for her and sell them to her classmates to raise money for her. We are having our picture taken with the kids all wearing them and giving it to her for her birthday which is May 7th. We charged $15.00 for the shirts that you are printing and all the proceeds will go to the family. This is our situation. If you would be interested in helping us, We would love to accept anything on behalf of the family. We had a head shaving marathon for her 3 years ago when she was first diagnosed with cancer. So we thought we would have to have a new approach for her. This time it is a lot more intense than the first time. My heart goes out to her and her family. They are really nice people.
