"I am happy to say that our small team of eight was able to make it into the TOP TEN teams in all of San Diego for fundraising! In fact, we were actually number NINE with an amazing total of $51,186.00! From all the major cities in which this walk is done, San Diego came up with the largest amount of overall donations at 6.1 Million Dollars!!!
I wanted to take the time to share with you how moving and wonderful of an experience this was for me. I can honestly say that I felt encouraged by the outpouring of support from complete strangers both walkers and community alike. I felt as though the pain, the muscle soreness, the blisters and the agony of pushing yourself that next mile was only a taste of what the survivors have experienced during their diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer. Our team had two such survivors who did an incredible job! I am so proud to have walked with them.
CustomInk was SO patient and easy to work with. Trying to find shirts that worked for every body type on our team was a challenge, but the CustomInk representatives that worked with us were awesome! They never gave up on us! Our shirts were amazing and got so many compliments during the 3 day walk! Next year we will definitely be using CustomInk again!
