Susan G.Komen 3 Day Walk, D.C-2010

"My two best friends committed to walking 60 miles in 3 days for the Susan G. Komen Foundation in October in Washington,D.C. We have been lifelong friends and although we all only have brothers, we consider ourselves like sisters, therefore, "Sisters of the Heart". They live in Boston, I live in California but we kept each other motivated for about 6 months while we trained. My Aunt is currently in remission and we were inspired by her strength and courage and walked for her and so many others. 2,900 walkers raised $5.3 million in our walk last weekend, truly amazing! Custom Ink helped me create a memorable shirt for us to wear. We got so many lovely comments.
