"I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis when I was 19 years old, 3 years ago, and decide this year it was time to do something for this crippling disease that I deal with on a daily basis. I often find it hard to walk because of the arthritis in my ankle, but push myself to keep active. My family and friends in this picture walked 3 miles with me on May 31, 2008 to recognize arthritis.
