About us!

This t-shirt and fundraiser is brought to you by Dr. Anne Harper Charity Hudley and Kathryn Ticknor Robinson - two Virginia-raised linguists who want to help support future W&M linguists!

Dr. Anne Harper Charity Hudley is a Richmond, VA, native and former rockstar member of the W&M linguistics faculty. Dr. Charity Hudley currently lives in California where she serves as Associate Dean of Educational Affairs for the Stanford Graduate School of Education as well as Co-PI of the Black Academic Development Lab (BAD Lab), whose mission is to integrate linguistic research with educational praxis and create a model of scholarship for dissemination. T-shirt design by Kathryn Ticknor Robinson (W&M Linguistics '07, G'town MLC '12). Kathryn lives in Richmond, VA, and has spent the past 10+ years as a linguistic consultant and qualitative researcher in the healthcare industry. She is currently pursuing a career transition into speech/language pathology.
