About this campaign

Supporters throughout the world have come together on behalf of Fr. James Parker, Pastor at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Batavia, Illinois. Recently, he was told by the Rockford Diocese that he needed to vacate the church premises without any explanation or reassignment to another parish.

This will essentially render another traditional Catholic priest homeless. It appears that Fr. Parker will soon join the ranks of the many "canceled priests" across the U.S. who have been sidelined by their bishops. It's time to shed a light on this crisis in the Catholic Church. We will no longer be silent!

We are taking actions to support Fr. Parker and the injustices he is facing because he preaches the truth and serves the Lord. In just a few short weeks, we created a Facebook page, fundraising page, and website. We have held rosary vigils, written over 1,000 letters to Rome, and went on a pilgrimage as a group. Together, we will continue to defend our priests.

I am tired of holy, truth speaking priests being shut down and abused. In addition, cancel culture, is pure evil both from a secular and church perspective.

It grieves my heart to see good priests sidelined. I’m happy to help Father Parker fight the good fight.

Fr Parker is a big part of the reason I became Catholic. Hearing his voice in the confessional is so comforting and he is so reverent in the beautiful sacrifice of the mass. Thank you Fr Parker for everything
