About this campaign

All funds raised goes directly to our family for support during this difficult time. Robert is a loving father, husband, son, brother and Veteran of the us ARMY. Our kids are Bria 2, Ryder 5 and Dallas 8. Rob will be off for an undetermined amount of time while he seeks treatment. We want to thank each one of you for the prayers, support and donations during this time. God bless you!

imagejpegimagejpegMay 13, 2016 our life was forever changed. My loving husband Robert Watkins came home from work, ate a snack and took a nap. While he was napping he suffered a seizure. He was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment and ct scans... They found a brain tumor not knowing if it was cancerous or not they recommended an MRI and surgery. The next couple of days were filled with MRI's, blood work, brain mapping and a lot of doctor's appointments. Rob had brain surgery May 24, 2016, Dr's were able to remove about 70-80% of the tumor and sent it off for the pathology report. He spent 7 days in the hospital recovering. On June 1, 2016 we received unthinkable news, Robs tumor was cancerous and not curable. He has a Grade 2 Astrocytoma in the frontal region of his brains. We met with the best doctors in the Seattle area to talk treatment. Currently Rob is on his 4th week of Proton Radiation, he has 2 more weeks left. He will have a month break before he starts chemotherapy. Rob is in good spirits, focusing on his family and faith. He's letting God lead this fight! We want to thank you for your time and reading our story. God bless!!!13516644_1124817537561432_1403947460686600382_njpgH13501756_1126529200723599_8504599551937875310_njpg13521851_1124817637561422_3669664828883027360_njpg13626400_10206894699866036_3355456124602411757_njpg13508817_1124817654228087_6940350998518012800_njpg13516555_1124817630894756_3764739287827118958_njpg
