About this campaign

Each year UnderDog Rescue of Florida accepts hundreds of unwanted, neglected, injured and abused dogs. As an all-volunteer organization, they open our hearts and homes to dogs that would otherwise be killed in over-crowded shelters. Many times, their adoption fees do not adequately cover the medical needs of the dog upon arrival.

Their vets offer reduced charges so that UnderDog may keep their adoption fees reasonable, but their services are by no means free. UnderDog relies on extra donations to pay expenses when the cost of care exceeds a realistic adoption fee.

UnderDog is one of the few rescues who accept heartworm positive dogs, or dogs that have been injured, neglected and abused. Many dogs arrive with severe skin, eye and ear infections due to neglect.

The high volume of homeless dogs continues to increase. Please help them continue to help the UnderDogs.

UnderDog Rescue of Florida is a Federally recognized 501(c)(3) organization.
They are an all volunteer, foster network rescue. All dogs are placed in loving foster homes with UnderDog's volunteers. None of their volunteers or officers collects a wage or salary. Every cent donated goes directly toward the dogs to help to pay their cost of care and veterinary bills.

All donations are 100% tax deductible.

UnderDog Rescue of Florida is funded solely by private donation. These funds go directly to cover the cost of rescuing dogs from high kill shelters,
assisting owners who must surrender their family pets, spay and neuter all animals and most importantly provide medical attention when required.

Many dogs they save require extensive medical treatment before they become available for adoption.

Any donation will help us continue to:

Spay/Neuter all dogs rescued
Heartworm test
Fecal exams
Vaccinate (Includes DHPP, Bordatella & Rabies)
Heartworm/Flea prevention
Microchip
Cover cost of food (Most of our volunteers are willing to pay out of pocket)
Cover cost of boarding in the event of overflow
Provide dental care & surgeries when needed
