About this campaign

DSPB needs your help! In order to finance the uniforms needed to outfit the band as a cohesive unit, we need to sell 250 t-shirts. Please help us to buy the uniforms we need, and proudly wear a part of Dundee's past, present, and future!

If we reach all 250 shirts sold we will earn $4,100.

Please contact the organizer with any questions.

Shirts are available in unisex, women's, and children's sizes.

Shirts will be delivered approximately 2 weeks after the close date.

41571_120136352385_3751_n 1jpgThe Dundee Scottish Pipe Band was founded in 2010 by a small group of pipers, several of whom had begun playing with the community high school marching bands, The Dundee Scots and The Imperial Scots. These organizations were a beloved part of the community, and offered character building, music education, and scholarship opportunities to area youth throughout the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and early 90’s. The Dundee Scottish has taken its marching band roots and the Scottish heritage of its home, and rebuilt an organization which fosters teamwork, youth education, and a drive for excellence as Dundee’s first competition pipe band.

DSPB has come a long way in a short time. Following the band’s first complete competition season, it was awarded the opportunity to rise from a Grade 5 “beginning band” level, to Grade 4 by the Midwest Pipe Band Association, and is looking forward to competing as such in the upcoming year. However, in Grade 5, it is acceptable for a beginning upstart band to be attired in the mismatched kilts and uniform pieces that DSPB members currently have. Some of those kilts belong to individual members. Other kilts were donated , and many are in a state of disrepair and in need of replacement. Though other uniform pieces are also in need of replacement, it is the kilts that are in the most dire need, especially for advancement to out next grade level.

DSPB has brought the sound of pipes back to Dundee. Through hard work and dedication, members have shown their ability to work together as a cohesive unit. With your help, they can look like one. DSPB hopes to sell 250 t-shirts. By donating to this cause, you will help to keep the Scottish spirit and heritage alive in Dundee, as well as continue the tradition of music education, teamwork, and drive for excellence that our marching band roots were known for.
