About this campaign
Join with us to support our good friend Randy Baptiste in his personal fight with EHE cancer. All funds raised go to the EHE Cancer Research work of Dr. Brian Rubin of the Cleveland Clinic, the only EHE research fellow in the country.
Randy was diagnosed in June of 2014 with EHE, an
extremely rare cancer of soft tissue with fewer than 20 cases reported
nationwide each year. EHE most frequently strikes the liver, lungs and bones. As
the cancer is so rare there is no Federal funding to research cause and cures
for it.
Randy is running this campaign to help fund
research being done by Dr. Brian Rubin of Cleveland Clinic so that he may
continue to study this disease and potentially find a cure for it. All proceeds
will go to Dr. Rubin's research efforts to find a cure.
Dr. Rubin has already discovered the disease’s genetic underlying genetic cause and hopes now to find effective therapeutic treatments for this devastating disease.
