This February is not only Congenital Heart Defect Awareness month, but also marks 4 years since Linus' last open heart surgery. After requiring 9 surgeries during his first year and a half, it's hard to believe he's been doing so well for so long. We could not have made it through that rough time without all of the help and support we received. It's past time for us to pay that kindness forward. With the funds raised from these shirts, we are going to buy much needed supplies for the Ronald McDonald House. The items on their wishlist like snack foods, laundry detergent, hygiene products and such may not seem glamorous or even all that important, but I can tell you first hand that they are life savers. We relied heavily on every service they provided for months on end. Things like clean clothes, a full belly and glorious caffeine were selflessly offered up by them. Without the occasional bed to sleep in and a hot shower, I'm not sure my sanity would have stayed intact. Please help us make sure other families like ours can be taken care of in the same thorough fashion we were.
