After a work related injury in 2000 Debbie suffered from a broken back. After two surgeries, in 2001, she was diagnosed with arachnoiditis. This disease, which causes chronic pain, has taken a toll on her life. Somehow, in light of all this, she manages to keep a smile on her face. She brings so much joy to her family and we would like to give some of that joy back by paying it forward to a research institute.
