About this campaign
Students and staff at First Flight Middle and High Schools are encouraged to wear these shirts on Bowtie Tuesdays!
John Buford is the chorus director at First Flight Middle and High Schools. He is also involved in many community organizations, including leading the choir at Holy Redeemer Church, sitting on the board of the Outer Banks Forum, and participating in the Outer Banks Community Orchestra. Shortly after being named the Dare County Teacher of the Year, our dear friend and beloved teacher received the devastating diagnosis of Acute Myeloid Leukemia and is currently receiving treatment at Duke Cancer Center.
