About this campaign

This booster is to help raise awareness in breast cancer. All funds raised will be donated to the Breast Cancer Foundation to help women who cannot afford to get mammograms and other testing to be able to do so in a timely manner.

A month after my 37th birthday, I began having pain and discharge from my breasts. After having ultrasounds, mammograms, biopsies and genetic testing done, it was confirmed that I indeed had breast cancer. I created a fundraiser to help raise awareness of this disease. My goal is to sell 50 t-shirts with the slogan "Never underestimate the power of a woman" on the t-shirt. I am declaring EVERY MONTH Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This disease does not take the other 11 months off and neither should well. All proceeds go to the Breast Cancer Foundation to help others who cannot afford it get mammograms and other testing to detect breast cancer in its early stages.
