About this campaign
The Lesbian Avengers are more than just a clever logo. Working for the visibility and survival of lesbians everywhere, the Lesbian Avengers supported diversity in schools, avenged attacks on queers, mobilized tens of thousands of lesbians worldwide, took over radio stations to fight misogyny, racism, and homophobia, and held the first Dyke Marches ever, still organized in cities across the globe.
Today, the Lesbian Avengers are one of the few serious role models for young dykes fighting discrimination, and trying to discover their place in the world. Our job is to help them.
Our most recent project? Publishing a new edition of the Lesbian Avengers Handbook. Still used today, we've slightly updated it to bring it into 2021, and added even more resources for activists and historians alike.
Other upcoming projects include a website redesign, and translating some of our resources.

Your donation will help document the Lesbian Avengers, share skills, and encourage lesbian activism at large. Coming June 1, 2021, a new edition of the Lesbian Avenger Handbook, still used by activists today.
The Lesbian Avengers Documentary Project is a project of the 501c3 Homocom Corporation. Promoting social change and broadening our understanding of LGBT lives, Homocom offers venues for information, ideas, and opinions, shares media skills through online resources, and recovers queer history both for lost activist techniques and inspiration.
