About this campaign

Support our brother’s family while he fights COVID-19. All proceeds go to the Solecki family. Our goal is to head off or eliminate every obstacle, distraction, or worry the family encounters so they can focus on supporting Joe and each other. Get a shirt, leave a donation, or both. Everything helps.

Joe is a professional firefighter who works overtime when he can and has a second job. His devotion to others is second to none. He has been hit extremely hard by COVID-19, and a team of doctors and nurses are working 24/7 to keep him going. His fight is day-to-day, and it’s taking everything he has to make it this far. But he is fighting. And while he’s fighting, his department refuses to let his family fall victim to financial uncertainty or suffer any additional hardship that we can head off.

Joe has been answering emergency calls from others in need for over 20 years. He started riding alongside his father with a volunteer fire department at the age of 14. Later, he served on the Baltimore City Fire Department for 5 years and was a member of an elite regional task force. He then moved to Texas with his family and joined the Irving Fire Department, where he has served for another 5 years. Joe serves others daily, and now it’s our turn to be there for him and his family.
