About this campaign
The Snohomish Band Boosters Club is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization designed to cooperate with and be of service to the band department of Snohomish High School.
The Snohomish High School (SHS) band program was established in 1929 and is one of the oldest in the state. The band held its first performance on May 30, 1930 and has performed without interruption ever since. This year marks its 90th anniversary.
Today, the band program consists of 2 Jazz Bands, 2 Percussion Ensembles, 3 Concert Bands, and our ever popular marching Panther Band. The bands perform around 40 individual performances throughout the school year for our school and community. We regularly perform around the state at festivals and competitions earning superior ratings. Every 4 years we take a large trip to a location within the US decided by the band members/parents, and take smaller trips in order to perform and bond as a group.
The band program enjoys the support of a very active booster group, involved administration, and the Snohomish community. As a result, we are seeing higher rates of participation and retention!
Through this campaign, the Band Boosters are hoping to purchase a 5-octave professional Rosewood marimba as a legacy gift from the Band Booster organization to the SHS band program in recognition of 90 years of making music.

The Snohomish Band Boosters Club is a non-profit organization designed to cooperate with and be of service to the band department of Snohomish High School and to generally assist in raising funds: (1) for the purposes of defraying travel and accommodation costs for the Snohomish High School Band, (2) for the sponsoring of concerts, exhibitions, and competitions that the band may enter or undertake, and (3) for the financial assistance of all phases of the Snohomish High School Band program.
The Band Boosters are dedicated to serving the greatest good to the greatest number of students for the longest time.
