About this campaign
Tragic news struck the wolf and wolfdog world a few months ago when a beloved member of the community, Sue Cranston, passed away. Not only was Sue a tremendous advocate for wolves and wolfdogs everywhere, she was also the Founder and Executive Director of Indigo Mountain Nature Center, a non-profit sanctuary located in Lake George, Colorado. With her passing, Indigo Mountain is on the cusp of shutting down, which will leave 25 rescues without a home. With the over-saturation of wolfdogs already in sanctuaries (and more requiring placement each day), there is nowhere for these animals to go. . . That is, unless we can save Indigo Mountain and the lives of all who call it home–together.

I would rather wolves and wolf hybrids have a safe place to live than to be hunted and euthanized.
I've seen so many TikTok videos lately gushing about wolf hybrids as pets and not covering the immense responsibility it takes to own one of these animals. I dont want to see an increase in wolf dogs being bred and put down!
To help !
We are a family of wolf (and all animals, really) lovers! I wish I could do much more.
I love what you guys do for these beautiful creatures.
In honor of our all our canine babies that we have been privileged to have/had in our family.
