About this campaign
In early February I wanted to come with a way that the family could show Sabriye that we were all "rooting" for her. I figured t-shirts would be a good way to show our unity. My initial idea was just to get about 50 t-shirts for family and extended family but I wasn't real sure how I would go about doing this. Then I received an email from CustomInk. This is a company that I had used before for personal t-shirts but unlike my previous purchases they had launched a new part of their company called "Booster".
Booster allows you to order t-shirts and raise funds at the same time. This meant that we could have the t-shirts to show unity and raise funds to help with Sabriye's treatments. Done! I signed up for it and told Sabriye's mom that we were going to try this and our goal would be75 shirts.Later after reading more information on BoosterI decided 150. I knew we were not going to make that goal but felt confident that we could get 75 sold.
Never in my wildest dreams did I think that we would sell 155 t-shirts!! Last night at 8:03 PM before our initial deadline we reached our goal of 150. I was totally blown away.
The campaign was extended one day by my Booster Advisor Matt. I did not ask for this; I just received an email from him stating that he was going to extend it and I am so glad he did.
This entire process has been one gift after another. Thank you to all of you who helped us along the way. It was not only those who purchased t-shirts but those who prayed with us, prayed for us and those who just spread the word. Your love and generosity is deeply appreciated.

A FB friend posted it on her page. My god daughters attend this dance school and my daughters did as well when they were younger. Mainly because i have a child that has MD and I know how rough it is on any parent. So I support anythg w/a good cause.
Just Because
I had a cousin that went through this same battle and ir was the support of family and friends that fit her through it. Her mom has been my rock so many times and now it's my turn to do the same.
Although I don't know Sabriye personally, she is the niece of a very special person! Thanks Mrs Hodge for allowing me to be a part of this!
