Operation Steel Warrior - Nucor Seattle

What is Operation Steel Warrior? Nucor has joined with other organizations to help build "smart homes" for severely wounded veterans. We do this on a company-wide scale. In 2013, we sponsoreCaptain Ben Harrow. In 2015, we sponsored Specialist Kevin Trimble. This year we are sponsoring Air Force Veteran Brian Kolfage. The Gary Sinise Foundation is the parent organization that will facilitate construction. All of the donations raised here in Seattle will go toward the construction of the home for Brian and local veteran causes. We are also pleased to be pairingwith Veterans &am Friends of Puget Sound, a local veterans advocacy group, to direct a portion of our funds close to home for more immediate community impact.
