Nkhamenya Girls Secondary School Fundraising Campaign

I am helping Sister Theresa Mfune, principal of Nkhamenya Girls Secondary School in Malawi raise funds to cover tuition costs of her students affected by poverty. We met a few years ago studying at Georgian Court University together. Sr. Mfune has gone on in her career to become the principal of an all girls boarding school in Malawi.
Through our coorespondence we have discussed her heartbreak at having to turn girls away due to lack of funds. Many of her 450 students are affected by poverty and cannot pay the tuition of $141.00 US per term. These girls risk losing their only opportunity for an education and a way out of poverty.

An educated girl is more likely to escape poverty, raise the status of her community, and send her own children to school.
