Mid-Atlantic GSP Rescue Fall Fundraiser

The Mid-Atlantic GSP Rescue is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming GSPs within the Mid-Atlantic region. Our rescue is able to function through the donations of volunteers. We try to run 3 big fundraisers a year, with our Fall T-Shirt campaign being one of those fundraisers. This year we are assisting a few medical cases that are really chipping away at our funds. Below are a few of the dogs that will be helped if you participate in this fundraiser!

Tucker: Tucker is an 11 year old male that was dumped at a shelter after his family decided they no longer had time for him. After he came into our care, our vet noticed his bloodwork was abnormal and it turns out poor Tucker has a tumor on his liver that will need to be removed. Tucker's surgery is estimated to e bout $5,000. He s cheduled for surgery the last week in October and we are hoping that this sweet boy will get to live out his golden years in peace and surrounded by love!

Buddy: Buddy is a 6 year old male who was found as a stray in rural VA. Upon arriving at his foster home, we knew something wasn't right. After many tests, it was determined that Buddy has congenital heart failure. Without treatment and medication he probably only had a month or so left. Now, with the right meds and proper vet care, Buddy will hopefully have a few more great years. Buddy's foster mom said he is an absolute love, and for a dog who most likely never had lived in a home before, he has really taken to comfy beds!

In addition to our medical needs, we vet all the dogs in our program so that they are up to date on vaccines and spayed or neutered. GSPs are a loving and loyal breed and they deserve nothing but the best! Thank you so much for helping us save pointers!
