About this campaign

Join Kai's fight. This fundraiser is help Kai's parents, Aki and Shawn, with any medical costs associated with his treatment. All profits made from the shirts will go to Aki and Shawn.

On March 6, 2014 an MRI showed that two and a half year old Kai Slockers had aggressive cancer on his brain and spine. He underwent surgery to remove a large part of the tumor in his brain, but he's still got a long road to go.

We set up this fundraiser to help his parents, Aki and Shawn, with any medical costs associated with his treatment. Thank you to Amanda Brown for creating this beautiful design to honor Kai's love of trains.

All profits made from the shirts will go to Aki and Shawn. The profits are based on the number of shirts made...so the more we sell the more we raise for them. Spread the word!

You can learn more about his journey here: http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/kaislockers.

Once you get your shirt, take a picture of you and anyone else wearing it and post it to Kai's Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/PleasePrayforKai.

Kai is a former student of mine when he was 12 months old in my First Steps class at Goddard. He is a sweet little boy who is very strong and I am praying for him everyday that we get a miracle and Kai gets better.

No little kid should have to endure something like this and no parents should have to watch their little kid go through this.

You can't just see it on facebook and say "oh that's so sad." and go to bed. Aki is all about service to others and I can't just "go to bed". Love and peace to Kai and his parents.
