About this campaign

The Wall That Heals exhibit honors the more than three million Americans who served in the U.S. Armed Forces in the Vietnam War, and it bears the names of the 58,281 men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in Vietnam.

In support of The Wall That Heals making its first-ever visit to the state of Hawaii in 2024, we are excited to offer this shirt to our supporters. The shirt proudly features The Wall with the Vietnam Service Ribbon in the background. The Vietnam Service Ribbon recognizes service during the Vietnam War by all qualifying members of the U.S. Armed Forces. The shirt also features the two tour stops of Hilo, Hawaii (The Big Island) and the island of Maui.


The Wall The Heals is a three-quarter scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C., designed to travel to communities throughout the United States. Since its dedication, The Wall That Heals has been displayed at nearly 600 communities throughout the nation, spreading the Memorial’s healing legacy to millions. Bringing The Wall home to communities throughout our country allows the souls enshrined on the Memorial to exist once more among family and friends in the peace and comfort of familiar surroundings. The traveling exhibit provides thousands of veterans who have been unable to cope with the prospect of facing The Wall to find the strength and courage to do so within their own communities, thus allowing the healing process to begin.

My dad, William Bernard Medeiros, recently passed away at home after a battle with parkinsons and lewy body dementia caused by exposure to agent orange. I learned about the war by visiting The Wall That Heals.

I have many cousins that served during Vietnam many of them have sadly passed away since returning home, I also have family and friends that did not make it home. I am so excited being able to see and touch the Memorial
