About this campaign

Down Syndrome, which is also called Trisomy 21, is one of the most common chromosomal conditions. Every year about 6,000 babies born in the United States are born with Down Syndrome. Most individuals are born with 46 chromosomes; however, those with Down Syndrome have an extra copy of the 21st chromosome.

Those with Down Syndrome often are mildly-moderately low in IQ and have a variety of unique physical features.


We know that these individuals are “extra,” and that they bring so much beauty to the world. We would love for you to know more about our friends.




This fundraiser is here to bring awareness and support to those with Down Syndrome.

The Trinity North and East Life Skills classrooms are so blessed to work with students with a variety of exceptionalities, Down Syndrome being one of them.



We strive every day to make learning meaningful, engaging, and possible for our students. When you purchase a shirt you’re donation is helping provide money towards community based instruction trips, classroom materials, hygiene materials, toileting materials, and so much more.


We are also all about paying it forward and donating to other organizations. A portion of this fundraiser will once again go towards the Washington County Special Olympics.
