About this campaign
The ASL Club at Oxnard College wants to show our support for the Deaf community. We were shocked and outraged by the behavior of a tenured professor with a hard of hearing students at our school, which demonstrated that we need to do more to spread awareness of Deaf culture and audism. In an effort to show our support, the ASL Club is selling t-shirts and will be donating all proceeds to GLAD (Greater Los Angeles Agency on Deafness, Inc), which is an organization that serves the Deaf, Hard of Hearing and Deaf-Blind community. This may be a small gesture in the grand scheme of things but we whole-heartedly support the Deaf community and invite you to help spread awareness by proudly wearing this t-shirt.
