McGarey's Fight Against Leukemia

I'm 44 years old, best shape of my life at time of the diagnosis. I was on vacation in Orlando, Florida, when I began to get servere leg pain. I was admitted to Florida Hospital Orlando via Celebration Hospital. I was quickly diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. My white blood cell count was so high, I would not have made back to my home town of Miami before organ failure, altimately ending in death. I'm currently still in Orlando for several more weeks doing chemotherapy. I will also be returning here for part 2 of chemotherapy.. Part 3 will be a bone marrow transplant, which based on finances, and I will have to be close to my Doctor, will probably take place in Miami.
