Macie’s Warrior Squad: Strength in Every Stitch

With heavy hearts, we ask for your support for our sweet and sassy girl, Macie. On June 28th, Macie was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). Her journey began a few months ago with a persistent cough and lethargy. Despite initial reassurances from doctors that it was just allergies, her condition did not improve. Further testing revealed the heartbreaking diagnosis.

In just a few short days, Macie has already undergone a series of intensive treatments, including a blood transfusion, bone marrow biopsy, spinal tap, port placement, and her first round of chemotherapy. The dedicated doctors at Children’s Mercy of Kansas City have outlined a rigorous treatment plan that will span over the next two and a half years.

The entire family is facing an overwhelming challenge. Balancing the demands of Macie’s treatments, managing their household, and covering the extensive medical expenses is daunting.
