About this campaign

Costa Rica doesn't have an official national motto but if you ask anyone they'd say its "Pura Vida" (POO-RAH VEE-DAH) Simply translated, it means “simple life” or “pure life”, but here in Costa Rica, it is more than just a saying—it is a way of life. Costa Ricans (Ticos) use this term to say hello, to say goodbye, to say everything’s great, to say everything’s cool. However, it is not the words that reflect the true meaning of ¡Pura Vida!. Pura Vida is the way Ticos live. Not surprisingly, Costa Rica has been named one of the happiest countries in the world, mostly because its inhabitants don’t stress about things the way most foreigners do. Ticos have a very relaxed, simple way of looking at life. No worries, no fuss, no stress—pura vida to them means being thankful for what they have and not dwelling on the negative.

These shirts do run a little small(little more form-fitted) but have a very soft feel that will not subside due to washing. Even it's size and collar will retain their shape wash after wash. This type of quality would easily cost you 30 to 35 dollars, but not on my watch it won't! You can also add a donation with or without the purchase of shirts! All funds raised will go directly to the $1495 needed to send me to Costa Rica. So go ahead a grab a few extras as gifts! These shirts can even be helpful in sharing the gospel! You can explain the even deeper mean behind "simple" or "pure life", that Christ gives us simple and pure lives of love, grace, and compassion. Not focused on the negatives of the world but full of thankfulness and hearts of a giver. That we have eternal joy and life through the power of Christ Jesus and we are to live simply and purely in the Truths of God! If you have any questions please contact me! Thank you!!

The trip will be May 21-31 and we will be in San Jose, CR. While there my team will be working alongside a local church to do outreach with children, young adults, orphanages, and Nicaraguan refugees. Please be praying for my team, the local church we'll be working with, and the people we'll be reaching out to!
