About this campaign
Literacy Volunteers of Kanawha County is an all-volunteer literacy organization located in Charleston, West Virginia. We believe the ability to read, write, and speak English is critical to personal freedom and the preservation of a democratic society. Our mission is "to promote increased literacy for adult and youth learners in Kanawha County through the effective use of volunteers, the provision of support services for volunteers and learners, and the collaboration with individuals, groups, or organizations desiring to foster increased literacy".
