About this campaign

We've formed a team for Walk MS because we want to experience a great event and help the National MS Society fund research, advocate for change, and help people with MS live their best lives. We believe in this cause and we believe in Laura!

Walk MS is a day that connects friends, families, and coworkers who join together to help create a world free of MS. Each step we take brings us closer to ending MS forever. Together, we can support Laura (from both near and afar) in her battle with MS. Every text message of encouragement, prayer for strength, and dollar of donation, will improve her daily outlook and strengthen her fight of this chronic disease. La has been such a positive light in all of our lives; our continued support as a community of her friends and family CAN and WILL end the debilitating aspect of this disease. WE CAN END MS for Laura.

Millions of people are affected by MS and the challenges of living with its unpredictable symptoms. Multiple sclerosis interrupts the flow of information between the brain and the body and it stops people from moving. Every hour in the United States, someone is newly diagnosed with MS, a disease of the central nervous system. Symptoms range from numbness and tingling to blindness and paralysis. The progress, severity and specific symptoms of MS in any one person cannot yet be predicted, but advances in research and treatment are moving us closer to a world free of MS. Laura was diagnosed in the late fall of 2014 and has already made fantastic strides in her health! This t-shirt booster will contribute funds towards the National Multiple Sclerosis Society--helping people like Laura get closer to a cure.
