A portion of the proceeds from this fundraiser will go to FirstBook. A portion will go toward purchasing books to donate to other schools, libraries, and classrooms in need.
First Book believes that education is the best way out of poverty for children in need. They provide brand new books and other resources to classrooms and programs serving children in need, from birth to age 18, in order to remove barriers to quality education for all kids. Because Kids need books! Reading is awesome :)
I love books, and think it’s really important for kids to learn to read and to their development in life. I am also supporting this campaign as a Christmas gift to my sister-in-law who is a middle school English teacher.
Kids DO need books! I'm starting a club at the middle school where I teach where members will start storytimes for the littles in their neighborhoods and read aloud clubs for themselves.
I read to my daughter every night in hopes she'll grow up loving books and continue to read and expand her mind.
First Books helps my school provide more books for our students. I want to support students through them as well.
