About this campaign

To honor Katelyn, this fund has been created to help support sending a high school senior to cosmetology school.

The Katelyn E. McCarthy Scholarship Fund has been established to honor the life, love and spirit of Katelyn Elizabeth McCarthy. Katelyn passed away tragically on May 13, 2022 at 18 years old. During her 18 years of life, Katelyn was unapologetically unique and always true to herself. She had an incredibly kind heart and always looked out for the underdog and those in need. Katelyn had a strong love for art, hair, makeup and music. She was looking forward to heading to cosmetology school after graduating Abington High School. Katelyn will always live on in our hearts and we will continue to share her story, her life and to remember the one thing Katelyn always wanted: to always treat others with kindness. Let’s continue her legacy for many years to come! Long Live Katelyn, LLK Always & Forever ❤️
