Organ Donation awareness T-shirts

On Feb 3rd 2013 my daughter Nadia, received her lifesaving gift, a new heart, from a precious child, Kaden, who lost his life too soon. My daughters donor mother, Keri and I wanted to do something special to celebrate their life on their two year anniversary.

By selling these T-shirts we are hoping to raise Organ donation awareness.

We would reach our goal if through this booster fundraiser/awareness we inspire only one person to register to become a Organ and tissue donor, because one life can change the life of many others.

Some facts.

How many lives can be saved by one organ donor?
Organ donor can save the lives of up to eight people.

How many people can be helped by tissue donation?
More than 50 people can be helped through one tissue donor.

How many people are waiting for organs in our country?
The number of people requiring a life-saving transplant continues to rise faster than the number of available donors. As of 2014, there were over 123,000 people waiting for a transplant in the U.S. Approximately 4,300 transplant candidates are added to the waiting list each month. Keri: " For me, Organ donation gave me hope and something to hold on to.

My son saved a little girls life, and it comforts me to know that part of him still lives on" .

Because of the decision Keri made during an unimaginable time, my daughter Nadia is still with us. All proceeds will go to an amazingnon profit organization that helps Families who have children like Nadia, that are born with a Congenital heart defect (CHD).
