Update from Julie..... I’m so sorry that I haven’t replied back to any of you. Honestly I am just gutted with the news. I had my 2 week post op appointment on Monday and after surgery my oncologist stated she was sure she got it all. As much as we all prayed for better results, I was just not that lucky this time. The pathology report shows that my margins were not clear and that I have stage 2 possible stage 3 vulvar cancer. The oncologist stated that it is in my lymph nodes and I am being referred to another oncologist as she is not able to treat this level of cancer. The new oncologist is the only one in the state of Texas that can treat me. I have just been accepted by MD Anderson cancer treatment center. Cancer picked the wrong person and I will fight this. I can’t thank you all enough for all the love, prayers, and support you have given me.
