Jobs for America's Graduates Shirts

Jobs for West Virginia’s Graduates works with some of the most at-risk teenagers in southern West Virginia to help them persist in their education, graduate from high school, and make a successful transition to the workforce and/or post-secondary education. We recruit 35-45 students in each of the ten high schools we serve – only those who need, want, and are able to benefit from the program. Through small group and one-on-one instruction, we guide them through the process of identifying career interests, finding and keeping a job, making good decisions, planning for the future, and becoming financially literate. And we stay with our participants for a full 12 months following graduation. Our results are consistent and remarkable: 90% graduation, 60% job placement, 80% positive outcome, 60% full-time jobs, 80% full-time placement, and over 35% enrolled in post-secondary education.
