Hoodies for my Homies

October 27^th marks the one year Anniversary of Dougie's passing. In celebration of his life and need to help others, we want to Pay It Forward by honoring his legacy and charitable spirit.

Everybody who knew Dougie, could tell you stories about how he would offer his hoodies to anyone that was in need; friend, stranger on the street, even the homeless. This started back when he was in middle school, and continued throughout his adult life.

I remember I would constantly ask him “Where are all your hoodies going?” He would say "Mama, I gave the hoodies to my homies!" I had no idea what that meant, and never really gave much thought to it at the time.

Now years later, that statement has significant meaning for me. So, we are launching "Hoodies for my Homies®".

Hoodies for my Homies® is a buy-one-give-one program created to honor Dougie and his passion for helping others.

When purchasing a hoodie during this launch period, a new hoodie will be donated to organizations serving the homeless, persons in need, displaced or experiencing hardship.

Dougie was, and will always be a gift to our family and the lives of those who knew him. We want to repay his kindness as a legacy to his generosity and loving spirit.
