About this campaign

In September, some of my friends and I (Shannon) will be doing the Light the Night walk in NYC, which is a walk to raise awareness of Leukemia and Lymphoma, the two major types of blood cancer. This Booster campaign's funds will all go towards that campaign.

I (Shannon) was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma and afew of the friends I have met at my treatment center and Ihave decided to use the energy we had being angry at cancer for existing into energy helping get rid of it, or at least raise more awareness of it.
So, we all made different types of T-Shirts and such that are specific to us for our family and friends.
Hodgkin's Lymphoma, in particular, originates in the lymph system (lymph nodes...kick cancer in the nodes...get it now? it's clever) and is actually the most "popular" cancer among people of my age group. However, it is not widely talked about. Many of my friends, acquaintances, and family upon finding out about my diagnosis have wanted to dosomething, which can be hard if you are not in the same vicinity as me. With this super cool, fun, T-Shirt (Hodgkins Lymphoma's ribbon color is purple) you get to stand in solidarity with me as well as raise awareness to Hodgkin's Lymphoma existence AND make a donation to an organization dedicated to fighting blood cancer. WIN. WIN. WIN.
