Help us Raise Money for Rayito de Luz Orphanage in Tijuana, Mexico!

Spanish in Healthcare at CSU East Bay is dedicated to working with the underserved Latinx communities to help alleviate medical disparities and social determinants. This December we will be volunteering at the Rayito de Luz Orphanage in Tijuana, Mexico! Many of the these children come from impoverished backgrounds, have suffered hardships, lost parents or have been abandoned. This trip will provide us an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of these children by bringing joy, love and inspiration.

During our three days in Tijuana, we will be teaching basic math, english, science and providing daily care for these children. Furthermore, we will be leading extracurricular activities such as games, sports, arts, story telling and delivering presentation on hygiene, health and nutrition. Please help us today by buying a sweatshirt! This money will be used to buy various items for the orphanage and the children. Some of these items include: books, crayons, school supplies, food, clothes, blankets, toys and funding for the daily operations of the orphanage.
