HaU LB Lupus Fundraiser

Lupus is a chronic disease that mostly affects woman of color. Doctors do not know how to diagnosis this mysterious disease. It could take them 3 months or more to diagnosis a patient and no patient is alike. The symptoms very from: joint pains, light sensitivity, rashes, hair loss, swelling, and the list goes on. It is not curable but it is treatable. This is why we want to raise money. When we say Lupus, peoples reactions where, "Who is Lupe?" and it is not a who. It is a disease that affects many people. This is also why we as an organization want to bring awareness to Lupus. It is not as well known as breast cancer or HIV/aids.
