When you take away $900 million state dollars from already struggling schools, there is bound for negative consequences. Nochild deserves to be robbed of the opportunity to learn and enjoy the arts visual, arts in music, arts in literary, or thehealth thatphysical education brings. And lately there has been a lot of that, as well as growing classroom sizes and fewer currently dated resources to give a thorough, aware education. Maybe as it stands now, we can't reverse all Scott Walkerhas undone. But we can do our best to preserve equal opportunity for all, and that equal opportunity begins with a strong public education system.
