The self-determination and national liberation of Black people is not only crucial to the movement for freedom and democracy in the U.S., but for the whole world as we advance the worldwide anti-imperialist movement. We recognize the suffering and exploitation plaguing our communities as rooted in the history of slavery and anti-black racism. It was on the backs of enslaved Africans that the wealth and power of the United States was accumulated, and that exploitation continues and has expanded all over the world through imperialism.

Help us combat anti-blackness in the Filipino community, by showing your support of the #BlackLivesMatter and the Black Liberation struggle demanding genuine social, economic, and political change in the United States.

The urgency of the fight to end the oppression of black folks continues, as evident in the murder of 1 Black person every 28 hours and the state’s policy of impunity for police officers responsible for the extrajudicial killings of unarmed Black men, women, children and gender-nonconforming people.
