About this campaign

I am raising money for Heather Renee Brunty-Gales' mother & her children. All funds will assist and support the financial burden the family has faced. All funds raised after debt is reached will be raised for Heather's precious children and GBS Foundation.

Heather Renee Gales was perfectly healthy until age 26. She had flu like symptoms a few weeks prior, then on November 1, 2012 she was diagnosed with a autoimmune disease that attacks the nerves called Guillain Barre Syndrome. The doctors believe it was brought on by a UTI that turned viral. Only 1 in 100,000 people get it.All the doctors at all 6 hospital said Heather's diagnosis was the rarest form of the disease they had seen. Since most are paralyzed outside physically Heather was paralyzed inside. Her digestive track, bowels, bladder and swallowing. It also paralyzed her from walking. Heather was a fighter and fought hard till the end. She was in 6 hospital and 4 care facilities for the past 13 months of her life. On December 17, 2013 The LORD called Heather home.

--Written by Bobbi Brunty, Heather's mother
