Every Penny Counts

Hello Everyone !
As many of you know, 10 years ago I was given the worse news ever. I was diagnosed with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease. ALS is a motor neuron disease which causes my muscles to weaken and die. People with ALS lose their ability to walk, talk, eat, move, and eventually breathe. Most die within 2-5 years from onset. Currently there is NO cure for this horrible disease.
So here's my story. I am proud to say I've been fighting this disease for 10 years now. That's T-E-N years. I am UNABLE to walk, talk, write, dress, bathe, and feed myself. I am blessed to have my loving husband as my primary caregiver. Even though the road has been long and bumpy, I remain positive, strong and inspirational.
