EOD Memorial Shirt for Michael Buras

September 21, 2018 marks the eighth year since we have lost a true warrior. Senior Airman Michael J. Buras enlisted into the United States Air Force in 2006 and graduated the Naval School Explosive Ordnance Disposal in 2007. Within three years of becoming an EOD Technician, Michael served two tours to Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan and his final tour in Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan. Throughout his career, he had earned a Bronze Star Medal with valor, two Purple Hearts, two Air Force Combat Action Medals, and was awarded the Army Combat Action Badge. Michael loved his job, and he loved his family. Through his ultimate sacrifice, he was survived by his wife, Emily and his daughter, Maddison, his mother and father, Joy and John, and his two sisters, Samantha and Michelle.

This fundraiser was launched in hopes to financially aid Michael's mother, Joy during this difficult time of the year. To show her and the Buras family that the EOD community has not forgotten about their loss and still fully supports them. Each t-shirt that is purchased will raise approximately $8 towards this cause and any additional donations are greatly appreciated. Let's lift up this Gold Star Mother as I am sure we would all hope would be done for any of our family members that were left behind and relieve one less stressor as the holiday season approaches.
