Help Send Edison Eagle Theatre Troupe 4885 to the International Thespian Festival 2025!
Hi friends, family, and fellow arts supporters—
I’m a proud theatre mom and booster for Edison Eagle Theatre Troupe 4885, and I’m asking for your help to send 15 incredibly talented student performers to the International Thespian Festival (ITF) 2025 in Bloomington, Indiana — a nationally recognized celebration of high school theatre and the amazing kids who make it happen.
These students have worked their hearts out all year—on stage, behind the scenes, at competitions and in the classroom. And thanks to Edison’s amazing theatre teacher, Amber Harrington, who pours every ounce of her heart and soul into these kids, they’ve already earned a grant that covers most of the cost of this incredible experience!
Now we need your help to get them the rest of the way — and we’re on a tight deadline: all funds must be raised by May 1st!
We’re raising funds to cover transportation, lodging, meals, and registration fees—the final pieces that will make this journey possible.
What makes ITF so special?
This isn’t just a trip—it’s a transformative experience. At the International Thespian Festival, our students will:
Participate in professional-level workshops led by Broadway actors and college faculty
Audition for college theatre programs and scholarships
Compete and perform on a national stage
Explore technical theatre and design through hands-on challenges
Connect with fellow theatre students from across the country
(You can read more about it here: itf.schooltheatre.org)
These 15 students are full of passion, talent, and dedication. They’ve earned this opportunity. Let’s come together to help get them there!
Here’s what your donation supports:
Travel expenses to and from the festival
️ Lodging for students and chaperones
️ Meals during the week
️ Festival registration and participation fees
Every gift—big or small—makes a difference.
Even if you can’t give, sharing this campaign with your network is a huge help. Let’s show these kids that their community believes in them and in the power of theatre to change lives.
Thank you for supporting the arts, our students, and the incredible work of Edison Eagle Theatre (and Ms. Harrington!).
With love and gratitude,
A proud theatre mom & booster
