About this campaign

East Coast Paws Transport is in dire need of funds to support our low cost spay and neuter programs in Georgia and South Carolina. Each spay or neuter we provide costs us between $40 to $77 dollars, depending on cat, dog and gender.

Since starting the program in March 2016, we have been able to get 80 dogs and 33 cats fixed. These numbers make a massive impact now and in the future on the communities we support.

East Coast Paws Transport was founded to provide a free and reliable means of rescues to "pull" dogs and cats from high kill shelters along the east coast. Utilizing free volunteer transport, the rescues were able to free up funds and care for additional animals.

As we worked more and more with shelters in Georgia and South Carolina , it became obvious the bigger focus needed to be on providing vetting options to the community. In turn, the goal is to reduce the amount of animals entering the shelters. To achieve this, the communities needed low cost spay and neuter programs, which they did not have prior to March 2015. The programs were designed to include any needed vaccinations and pain medication.
